🇧🇪 Vintage VW Meeting in Flanders Fields

Get ready for the vintage Volkswagen event of 2027!

What a weekend it was! The 2024 edition of the Vintage Volkswagen Gathering in Kemmel was once again a great success.
More than 230 original and period-correct Volkswagens, all built before August 1968, created an impressive and nostalgic scene in Warande Park.

Visitors enjoyed the unique combination of authentic vehicles, the beautiful surroundings of the picturesque De Warande Castle, and the friendly, relaxed atmosphere that makes this meeting so special. Participants came from all over Europe — with representatives from the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Switzerland, and Sweden.

In addition to the exhibition, there was a parts market, atmospheric food trucks, a bar with sixties music (DJ Cyriel Vinyl), and even a playground and bouncy castle for the youngest visitors. On Saturday, a scenic drive through Heuvelland, Kemmelberg, and Ypres was one of the highlights, with participants enjoying local cafés, panoramic views, and historic World War I landmarks along the way.

Sunday traditionally concluded with another static exhibition and an award ceremony, where the most beautiful cars took home a trophy — a fitting end to a fantastic weekend full of passion, nostalgia, and friendship.
